Using my GPS, I determined that my sustained cruising speed is about 3-3.5 mph….Pro Angler normal to top Hull Speed.

shameigh, I think you miss Matt’s point that Hobie Kayaks are made up from parts sourced globally, BUT the hulls are made in Oceanside, CA. I see no difference in many other products (assembled) made in the USA………Made in China!
