We do not allow participants to wear sandals, open-toed or slip-on shoes. Participants must wear gloves. Gloves can be brought from home or are available for purchase at Go Ape. Long hair has to be tied back, waists covered and body piercings and jewelry removed or taped over.

Can you wear shorts at Go Ape?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty (gym clothes are perfect, but keep in mind the harness will sit on your upper thighs and waist, so longer shorts are best) and closed toe shoes such as sneakers or hiking boots.

Is Go Ape hard?

Most of the course is simply walking along somewhat easy courses. The difficult parts are climbing the 5 rope ladders and also climbing the net after the 2 tarzan swings. The 2nd tarzan swing is much bigger and optional, the first one is smaller and necessary.
