Beds are considered an upgrade to Sleeping Bags as they allow the player to respawn in their set spot every 2 minutes, instead of waiting 5 minutes with a Sleeping Bag. Beds can only be placed on a solid foundation or floor tile. Beds do not offer a comfort bonus.

Here’s the simple solution. A Sleeping Bag, when used to respawn, has a 400 second cooldown before one can respawn from it again. With a Bed, the cooldown is 200 seconds, plus Beds have more health structurally.
