Can non FIU students use the library?

Yes, the libraries are open to the public and anybody can visit and use most library resources in the building. Please note, all Library Guests will need to show an FIU OneCard/ID, state-issued ID, or some other form of government identification at the Guest Services Desk in order to access the building.

How do I rent a room at FIU library?

  • FIU@75: In addition to computer labs, FIU@75 offers reserved study spaces.
  • The Sky Lounge: Started in 2010, Deuxieme Maison’s Sky Lounge converted a neglected courtyard into a beautiful, alfresco study space.

To obtain a card:

  1. The Student will go to the FIU One Card Office at their respective campus.
  2. The Student is not responsible for payment for their first* FIU One Card.
  3. The Student must present a valid government-issued photo ID.
