Intel® Active Management Technology (AMT), built into the Intel® Core™ vPro™ processor, works below the Operating System (OS) level and allows admins to control and manage devices even if the OS is not booting. The solution helps admins improve efficiency and manageability.
What does vPro capable mean?
The Intel vPro® platform is an integrated, validated platform with built-in features for performance, security, manageability, and stability. You’ll get a PC that delivers business-class performance, hardware-enhanced security features with Intel® Hardware Shield, and PC fleet stability right out of the box.
How do I check vPro support?

Is Intel AMT vPro?

How do I enable vPro on my Dell?
Configuring BIOS Settings
- Launch Dell Command | Intel vPro Out of Band.
- Click Client Configuration > BIOS Settings.
- Make any changes to the BIOS settings for your client systems.
- Optionally, select task processing options:
- Click Next.
- Search for client systems to which you want to apply the BIOS settings.
Does Intel 12th Gen have pluton?
Intel, which helped develop the hardware-level technology along with AMD and Qualcomm, has not included Pluton in its 12th Gen Intel Core “Alder Lake” processors, all but assuring its absence in many 2022 PC releases.
