Her grandmother taught her spells to protect herself, but years later her grandmother died and Sheeta was now an orphan, however she was given the house. At 12, she took care of herself and her farm until Muska and his men kidnapped her for their purposes of finding Laputa castle.
Is there romance in Castle in the Sky?
In terms of romance, Castle in the Sky is pretty light on it being that it is targeted at a younger audience, but I don’t think that makes Pazu and Sheeta’s relationship any less integral to the plot. They are absolutely cute together and come to trust each other implicitly.
