What is IC 74193?
What is IC 74193?
IC 74193 is a 4-bit presettable synchronous MODULO-16 Up/Down binary counter IC. IC74193 has two separate clock input pins to count up and count down, the output is synchronous with the clock inputs.
How does a 74LS193 work?
The 74LS193 Four-Bit Binary Counter Two separate clock inputs are used to control up or down counting. The counter has a maximum MOD-16 count sequence that can be shortened to any modulus less than 16 by using the asynchronous control inputs. The clear input resets all count stages back to zero.
How does the 74192 74193 counter control counting up or down?
The 74192 is a BCD decade up/down synchronous counter. The 74193 is a 4-bit binary up/down synchronous counter. These chips also have parallel data input leads that can be used to preset the counter. Two clock inputs are available; one for an UP count and the other for a DOWN count.
How many flip flops are needed for Mod 16?
Number no. of flip – flops are required to construct a mod-16 counter, must satisfy: 2n ≥ 16 i.e. Get proficient with the Digital Electronics concepts with detailed lessons on the topic Sequential Circuits among many others.
What is 74HC193?
The 74HC193; 74HCT193 is a 4-bit synchronous binary up/down counter. Separate up/down clocks, CPU and CPD respectively, simplify operation. The outputs change state synchronously with the LOW-to-HIGH transition of either clock input. If the CPU clock is pulsed while CPD is held HIGH, the device will count up.
What is implemented by 7493 circuit?
IC 7493 Applications: It is used to create a long time delay. This IC is used in timing related application. By using this IC few microcontroller-based applications can be done. It is commonly used in divide by 2, divide by 8, and divide by 16 applications.
How does a 7493 chip work?
The 74LS93 IC comes up with two reset pins, two clock pins, and four output pins. The IC is made up of two counters one is mod 2 counter another one is mod 8 counter. The whole IC gives the output 4 bits which counts from 0 to 15 in binary. This is compatible with any microcontroller or TTL based devices.
How many flip-flops are needed for MOD 128?
Since given that it’s a divide by 128 device. 2^n > 127 {because the flip flops could count from 0 to given no-1 i.e, 0 to 128-1=127}.. Therefore. =7..
How many flip-flops are needed for Mod 15?
Number no. of flip – flops are required to construct a mod-15 counter, must satisfy: 2n ≥ 15 i.e. Ace your Digital Electronics and Sequential Circuits preparations for Asynchronous Counters with us and master Modulus of a Counter for your exams.
