How do you get into UW Honors?
Students cannot be admitted to the Honors Program unless they are admitted to the UW. Freshman applicants will simultaneously submit the Honors Program application as a part of the UW Freshman application. Second Year applicants will apply to Honors after completing two quarters of UW coursework.

Honors at the UW is an innovative space and collaborative community engaged in intentional interdisciplinary exploration. Students can pursue Honors in three ways: as a general education track; an in-depth program within their majors; or as a combination of the two. There are also several ways to apply.

The UW checks students’ final grades and confirms their course work by reviewing their high school transcripts.
