What is a top-hung VELUX?

- First, ensure the window is fully closed before beginning.
- Open the handle up, but do not push out.
- Then pull the vent bar down fully, until the sash is fully rotated 180°
- Secure the position by sliding the barrel bolts into the holes at either side of the bottom of the frame.

To clean the outer pane, rotate the sash 180 degrees. The sash must be secured in position by sliding the barrel bolt into the bushing at the bottom of the side frame. The air filter can be removed and washed with ordinary household cleaners.
