What is Flasher ARM?
What is Flasher ARM?
The Flasher ARM is used to program the non-volatile memories of Arm-based microcontrollers and Systems-on-a-Chip (SoCs) as well as external flashes like (Q)SPI flashes that are directly connected to the microcontroller. It can be used in stand-alone or PC-based mode and connects via USB, Ethernet or an RS232 interface.
What is J-Flash?
J-Flash is a PC software running on Windows (Windows 2000 and later) systems, Linux or macOS, which enables you to program the internal and external flash of your microcontroller via J-Link or Flasher. Supports most Cortex A-R-M, RX and Power PC devices/cores.
What is a Flasher device?
A flasher is a small device that connects the phone to the computer and helps the user change the IMEI number of the handset. After the IMEI number is changed, it is next to impossible to locate that phone. Police said that most of the snatchers running the racket know about the flasher technology.

For embedded developers and hardware hackers, JTAG is the de facto standard for debugging and accessing microprocessor registers. This protocol has been in use for many years and is still in use today.
How does ARM SWD work?
SWD uses an ARM CPU standard bi-directional wire protocol, defined in the ARM Debug Interface v5. This enables the debugger to become another AMBA bus master for access to system memory and peripheral or debug registers. The Debug Access Port (DAP) is split into two main control units.
What is JLink segger?
J-Link BASE is a USB powered JTAG debug probe supporting a large number of CPU cores. Based on a 32-bit RISC CPU, it can communicate at high speed with the supported target CPUs. J-Link is used around the world in tens of thousand places for development and production (flash programming) purposes.
